What's On My Galaxy Phone?

Recently I replaced my Blackberry with the Samsung Galaxy GT-I819ON. Also known as the SIII Mini. When I went into the store and I knew I wanted a phone from the Galaxy range, I looked at all of them. I personally am not a fan of the shape of the S4...the S3 is too big for my hands to hold comfortably...so I went for the mini! I'm glad I did as well, I bought a tablet at the same time (Galaxy Tab 2 7.0) and today I'm going to share what's on my phone.
I'm still playing around with this, I've had it just over a month now so I'm still customising and adding and getting rid of apps. I'm partially sharing this to get recommendations for good apps!

Here's my case! I just purchased this on eBay and it was pretty cheap. I really needed a wallet style case for my phone but I can't stand the really boring ones that appear when you search for them! Everyone has those ones...so I managed to get my hands on this Mint x Pink combo one and I love it ;)

I'm also a fan of Engrish and this case is no exception... in case you can't read what it says under the crest...
"we always love MOZ. please Stay with me forever we're helpful with you" ...I kept all the capital letters in the places they put it as well...Hey. At least they tried right?

Here's my lock screen! I've experimented with this a bit. I've tried the simple swipe one and the face locker...I didn't really like either of those. So I switched over to a Korean app called 스타일 락카 to download this particular locker screen. It just has a simple swipe screen because I don't really need a passcode :)

And this is my home screen! The theme is called Pastel Sky and the wallpaper is the one that came within the pack. I've tried tons of themes so far. Especially lots of k-pop ones...but I love how simple this one is!

The only thing I don't really like about this one is the app button. That's the one in the bottom corner...yeah it's just a little boring! So if anyone knows how to change the application button please let me know!

This is the section screen! I love the weather widgets I've got here! Yeah they're really great...eum this page has a ton of apps on it. It doesn't really look like it...but the line folder alone is huge!

The widgets on this page are my favourites though. The active applications one is a lifesaver when I need to clean memory down...the assistive light is just the torch and it turns on with one click so it just makes my life easy! And then at the top I have my Starbucks card which I've used so much that I now have a balance of 30p. Oops. I suppose I need to top it up now then right? Too much Starbucks for me!

Here's one of the pages of my app screens...we've got Snapchat (my username is just milkeipure if you feel like being spammed by my face 24/7), Instagram (follow me? ;D), Facebook, my lock screen theme changer, I Love Coffee which is my favourite game these days! It connects to Line and I just love it! Then we've got Line, Dodol pop (it's just got a ton of ringtones for free), the gallery app. HD Wallpapers, Line's Antivirus program, Line PLAY and Chrome.

Here's the first page of all my Line Apps. I'm not going to go through each product individually because I've literally just downloaded all of Line's applications. If you want to be friends with me on Line then my username is of course milkeipure again!

And here's the second page! I'll leave my Line QR code at the end of the post so you can scan that if that's more convenient for you all! But I use Line A LOT. I'm constantly on it these days. I'm either playing on Line's games or checking up on updates from official accounts and chatting with friends. 2NE1 nearly update more than me!

Here's my editing apps! Cymera is by Cyworld, Kakao Story links with Kakao Talk, Instagram and then Meitu Xiuxiu which you all know to be my favourite editor on PC so of course it's my favourite phone one as well!

And here's the SNS category for Social Networking Services that I don't use constantly. Twitter and Facebook aren't included into here because they have their own separate spaces. But I love these ones. I don't use We Heart It much any more but it stores a lot of my favourite pictures so I love it for wallpapers. Pinterest is great for when I'm window shopping online and need to find products in the stores later. When I was buying all of my prom things I had Pinterest in the background to compare my inspo lists to what I saw.
Snapchat of course is great for when I'm bored...not so great at 1am in the morning when I have no makeup on...but yep. That's there.
And Foursquare I use instead of Facebook Places. I really don't like signing into places using Facebook...but I sign in everywhere on Foursquare. Whenever I go away or have a trip out I like to document my day on Foursquare, signing in everywhere and taking a picture at each space!

As you can see the Cleaner widget...cleans the memory...eum yeah. I don't really have anything to add but I like to keep on top of it!

And here's a picture of my Instagram for some not so subliminal advertising. As you can probably see...I recently posted a what's in my makeup bag and some OOTD shots on there! So I'm just growing on there...but warning to everyone...I do tag xD

And my Pinterest for an idea of what I use it for! I love looking at the Dream Lifestyles board for motivation. It's got all of the interiors that I'd love to have in the future so when I'm feeling down I look at that and the Idol inspo for motivation! (Arden Cho on the board cover...isn't she so great? ;D)

And finally! Here's my QR code for Line! Feel free to add me on Line! :') Especially if you play any of the Line games!

Wow! I can't get over how long this post took...I started this as a filler post...and it turned into a full-on project! I've taken to doing "what's in my..." posts and I might start posting them on instagram instead of spamming up my blog with a ton of them! So definitely go and check out my instagram and follow me if you want to see those updates!

Have a great day and if you've got any app recommendations, please feel free to leave them in the comment section below!

Summer/Beach Makeup Tutorial

A number of readers have asked about how many products I really need to use to create a full face of makeup. I decided to accept the challenge and try and use only 5 products to do a full face of makeup. Now I could potentially have only used 2 or 3 but I wanted to do a full colour makeup version....just BB cream and concealer would have been boring right?

Here's the five products I chose! From top-to-bottom:
  1. Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream in the shade #21
  2. Etude House's Styling Eye Liner in the colour #01 Black
  3. The Face Shop's Design My Eyebrow in #04 Brown
  4. Tony Moly's Tony Tint in Cherry Pink
  5. Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer in #1 Fair

Starting with the base, I've got two of my favourite products right now! These are both great lightweight summer products, good coverage and just great staples to have.
Missha's Perfect Cover has SPF42 and PA+++ so it has protection which is essential for any beach or summer look and the Collection concealer claims to last 16 hours. Unfortunately I don't keep my makeup on for 16 hours so I couldn't test that really...maybe I will though and get back to you guys!

Rather than putting on BB cream first, I prefer to apply concealer. It's easier to blend and matches the colour better. Because I use this concealer as my under-eye one it's slightly lighter than my skin tone and the BB cream so I put it on first so I don't get patches of white!

As you can see I've put the product along my nose bridge because we're not using a highlighter. Finding diverse products is pretty essential, rather than having 3 different products (an under-eye concealer, blemish concealer and highlighter) I've managed to get away with just one! I'm also not using a brush here, just my fingers.

So now I'm all blended in, as you can see the coverage is pretty good and it's not too shiny either which was my only concern when I first decided to switch to liquid concealers rather than sticks.

Now moving onto the BB cream, this is my HG for the summer. My skin right now is so pale - which seems to contradict the summer sun... - so this is the only BB that seems light enough for me!
Although don't be put off by the colour on me, I have the lightest shade and there is some darker ones!

This is how much product I'm using today. This is about one pump worth and it covers my face generously. I actually think I used a lot of product today!

I use a technique that's called "dotting"...for obvious reasons! You simply dot the product around your face so the coverage is even. I've been doing this for years and assumed everyone applied product like this...but it turns out not everyone does! I love this method because I know my coverage is really even and if I need more on one area I can apply it to that individual space more.

Now I'm all blended and my base is ready to go! Potentially you could finish here if your brows were pretty good. At the moment I've got some bald patches so I have to fill mine in.

Don't forget to wash your hands between the steps! Especially after completing your base makeup. To avoid getting your face or products dirty please remember to wash them! This is why I like doing my makeup in the bathroom or having hand sanitiser next to my makeup.

Next up is eyebrows. I tried to mute these down - and the flash lighting never helps...I swear it never picks up the colour... - Because my lip colour will be bright I didn't want too much going on with the eye region.

For some reason I didn't take any photos of the eyebrows alone, so here's both my eyeliner and eyebrow. You can hardly see it's there. That's because I've smudged the eyeliner out. One of the problems with pencil eyeliner is that it smudges...but if it's smudged intentionally then it doesn't matter right? This lasts a lot longer than my liquid liners and it doesn't run in the same way.

I'm using the Styling EyeLiner. I also want to try the White version as well if I can get hold of it, I was going to buy both at once but I decided to just stick with the black for now to trial it out. It's not very pigmented, but my eyes don't seem to suit heavy eyeliner so that's a good thing for me!

Here's the tip! It was originally pointed I think, but after using it once or twice it went like this instead...

This is one of my favourite all time products. It's so versatile and this is why I love water lip tints rather than milky or jelly ones. I can also use this as a blush! (and I'm sure if you wanted red eye makeup you could apply it there as well) It's just my favourite guys! xD

I applied three dots along my cheek in a triangle shape and just blended out. Try not to get too close to the nose area, one of the issues I had using this rather than my normal powder or cream blushes is that it dries really fast so it doesn't blend too well. It took a couple of days practising to get the hang of it, but I think I like it now, it's not perfect but I'm getting there!

As you can see...my camera has decided to pick up the red a lot so you can see the colour clearly! Because I waited whilst taking pictures of the application, it hasn't blended well in the corner. but this adds a lot of colour! It makes it kind of interesting I think!

And now lip application! Just draw three dots along the bottom and two on the top (either side of your cupid's bow). If you want it to have a gradient effect then stick to applying in the middle and just blend out otherwise try to apply an even coat.
Remember to apply lip balm as part of your morning routine so your lip isn't cracked for when you apply the tint! Don't apply the tint just after you've applied the lip balm though because otherwise it may slide.

And here's the finished lip colour look! I finally managed to capture the colour of the tint well! In my tutorial, the lighting wasn't as good as this and it didn't reflect the true colour of the tint. I'm glad I've finally got it for you though!

And as a quick review, here's everything we used! It's also a great travel set! You don't need to worry about carrying extra brushes and these products will all fit in a small makeup bag or a pocket in your bag.
This is also a great technique for students on a budget ;) All of these products are pretty cheap and versatile so you don't need to worry about investing in anything!

And here's the final look! It's pretty basic and the lip colour actually goes really well with my beach bag! (Which I haven't actually had an opportunity to use yet...someone take me to the beach! xD)

Have a great day everyone and I hope you enjoyed this post!

If you had to only use 5 products, which ones would you use?

Circle Lens Preview! [From Sakuranko and LoveShoppingholics]

If you read Sakuranko's blog then you'll have know that she held a giveaway a while ago, and I was lucky enough to win it! I always feel so lucky for these things :') I've not entered many giveaways and I've won two! :O Plus I received the emails just after my birthday so it was cute timing!
This isn't going to be a review because I haven't actually had time to wear them yet! :') They arrived a couple of days ago and I've been ill so far so I haven't worn them, I'll do a full review later on after I've worn them a couple of times but I'm really excited to try them on!

Inside the package came this! I always get worried about the safety of ordering things like lenses online, but after seeing how well LoveShoppingHolics had packed everything for me I know I'll be fine now!

Plus look how cute this plastic bag is, it says "Because I want to see you face with a smile" I love cute little engrishy sayings on stationary! I did originally take...a number of pictures of just the packaging...but I thought I'd only upload a couple so you're not all overwhelmed!

So the lens case I received with these lenses was an elephant! ...I'm totally not going to pretend this wasn't one of the main reasons why I love circle lenses! They always come with such cute cases! My mum wearings contact lenses everyday...and she's been staring at this case on my side...I have to make sure she doesn't steal it guys! :O

And they sent a cute little card as well! Note to online sellers, always put a card or written note inside your packages! It makes me 1000000% more likely to come back to you, it always looks like you've put tons more effort in that way even if it's printed :)

Here's the note :') look at the cute Hello Kitty! :D Thanks LoveShoppingholics and Sakuranko for this :')

It's so hard for me to get the right lighting for this...it kept reflecting off the lights...for my review I'll practice and make sure I have a better picture of the case for you all then!

And here's the lenses themselves! I'm not sharing which ones they are yet so I can keep it a surprise! ;) They're from GEO...so only Sakuranko and LSH know which ones they are right now!

I promise I'll have a review coming soon, this was just a quick thank you post to both Sakuranko and LSH, before I wear these I just need to visit my optician and check my eyes are okay again now. I want to make sure my eyes are in good condition before I wear them and ruin my eyes or the lenses! But that shouldn't take too long! So I'm really looking forward to seeing myself in circle lens! They're just a very natural pair but it really should be interesting, everyone tells me that I have quite big eyes...so I wonder what happens when they get even bigger?

Before I wear them though, do any of you have any tips for wearing circle lenses? Is there anything I should keep in mind or how long should I be wearing them for?

The thing I'm most freaked out about is touching my eyeball! I really can't stand the thought of taking them out! I don't mind putting them in because that doesn't involve too much eyeball touching...but taking them out will! But I think I'm probably over thinking it! I guess it's no different to applying eyeliner to your waterline and almost touching your eye...

Anyway, enough rambling! Thank you to both Sakuranko and LSH for these and I'm really looking forward to wearing and sharing these with you all! Hopefully it should improve my ulzzang look a lot as well!

Have a great day!
